Dreams & Nightmares

 Meek Mill had high expectations for his upcoming album, "Dreams and Nightmares" that was released on October 26th. Robert Williams (born May 6, 1987), better known by his stage name Meek Mill, is an American rapper from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was briefly signed to T.I.’s label Grand Hustle Records and in February 2011 signed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group. From there he has been an independent rapper and this could be his "breakthrough album". None the less he is a great rapper but i personally believe there are about 2-3 really strong songs on the album. It has received some great views but i am not the biggest fan of the Maybach music group. Although, I can listen to Meek Mill in some songs. 

                 So maybe Dreams and Nightmares is something to celebrate, even though it's imperfect. After navigating that push-pull, Meek Mill has emerged with an album that is distinct in both voice and sound and also plays to his strengths. It is tense and dramatic, with variations of piano constituting the bedrock of the album and Meek rapping passionately even by his own standards. Be sure to check it out on iTunes and in stores now.
